Exchange Humanities

Leiden University’s Faculty of Humanities offers a wide range of subjects for Exchange and study abroad students. On these pages you can find individual courses, as well as a number of course packages for which you can apply. Please note that the course descriptions listed are from last year, and are therefore subject to change. Please note also that once you have been accepted to a course, changes to your course selection within the faculty can only be made in exceptional circumstances.
Please note that BA International Studies courses take place in the Hague.

Packages

The following is a list of course packages that are thematically connected, have complementary course schedules, and total 15 EC. If you would like to apply for a course package, select the individual courses in your online application. You can add additional courses from the individual courses list, or, if you are a university-wide exchange student, from the course offerings from other faculties as well. Please note that you will need to check the schedules, when available, for any additional courses you may add to ensure you do not have any course clashes.
