There are no specific admission criteria. But, in view of the final attainment levels envisaged, minors are most suitable for third-year bachelor's students.
Description
The aim of this course is to improve the level of Moroccan Arabic (darija), the spoken dialect of Morocco, of advanced speakers, and make them more confident. In order to achieve this, students will give presentations, engage in dialogues, participate in discussions. This course makes use of audiovisual materials which help students improve their listening skills and should provide students with ideas for their own presentations.
Course objectives
Students are expected to be able to express themselves with more confidence and take part in conversations on complicated topics such as education, culture, history, and politics.

Assessment
Classroom participation: 40%;
Quizzes and assignments: 20%;
Final test: 40%.
Quizzes and tests mainly consist of speaking and listening exercises.
Weighing
The final mark for the course is established by determining the weighed average.
Resit
If the final grade is 5.5 or less students may take a resit once (100%).
Exam Review
If a student requests a review within 30 days after publication of the exam results, an exam review will be organized.
