Participation in the Honours College Track Archaeology.
Description
The aim of this course is to enable you, under the supervision of a researcher, to gain experience in conducting research within the context of a long-term research project, and within a research group.
A student or a group of 2-3 students will conduct research, autonomously but under the supervision of a researcher linked to the Faculty of Archaeology, for at least 17 working days. These 17 working days can be scheduled after consultation with the internship provider and after approval by the Honours coordinator during the academic year.
The course will end with a report about your activities during this internship. You can also choose to attend lectures within or outside the Faculty of Archaeology, and visit international conferences in the context of a personal academic development plan. This is only possible after consultation with the Honours coordinator and after approval by the Board of Examiners.

Mode of instruction
Participation in current research being conducted by Faculty of Archaeology staff.
Course load
17 Internship days;
Writing internship report (guidelines are on Brightspace).
Assessment method
Internship report (evaluation by Honours coordinator);
Assessment by the internship supervisor.
Assessment deadlines
The internship report must be submitted 6 weeks after completing the last internship day and after having completed the internship's deliverables that were set in the internship agreement (if applicable).
