Description
The Thesis Seminar will introduce students to various aspects of writing a Master Thesis. This seminar forms a (mandatory) part of the MA Thesis process. Students will be introduced to the standards of evaluation for the thesis, the process of designing a research project and the preparation a thesis outline. We will discuss the formulation of the main research question as well as finding relevant sources and literature. Special focus will be paid to plagiarism.
Course objectives
Students learn to analyse their research interests and formulate a concise and clear research question;
Students learn to find relevant sources and literature;
Students learn about academic (self) plagiarism.
