Admission requirements
Admission to the European Politics and Society Joint Master Programme
Description
In their final year of study, students must complete a 420 hour of internship for 15 ECTS. The internship may be carried out in the first or second semester but must usually be completed by mid-April.
Students are appointed a supervisor from among the academic staff of the MA International Relations degree programme. That person is the first contact of the student when it comes to assessing the academic relevance of the internship project. All internships have to be approved by the organisation’s supervisor, the academic supervisor, the Careers Service and the Board of Examiners before the starting date to ensure that the internship meets the criteria.
The EPS Programme offers organised internships by its Associated Partners (Vaclav Havel Library, Institute for European Policy, Prague Security Institute etc.). Students can also an find internship on their own at any institution or company the of which activity is, at least generally, related to the field of study of the EPS Programme or at a national organisation with a clear academic profile or in some related institution that is part of the public administration. The internship may be completed within the Netherlands or abroad.
