Admission requirements

The student has finished Junior Research Project I (JRP-I) and has handed in the written report of JRP-I via Kl-app. The course How to write a research proposal has successfully been completed. The location and content of JRP-II Management has been discussed with BMS coordinator M,C,E,H specialisations, who will act as internal supervisor, prior to writing the project proposal.

Description

The project proposal contains: (1) administrative details, (2) introduction to and description of the internship, including info on location and planning, (3) learning goals, (4) expectations of your supervisor, and (5) deepening subject. Detailed information on the content of the proposal can be found on Brightspace master BMS - M specialisation. After approval by project coordinator and internal supervisor, the proposal is uploaded in Kl-app for processing and obtaining EC.

Course objectives

Before the start of JRP-II Management, students write a project proposal under the guidance of the JRP-II project coordinator and the internal supervisor. In writing the proposal, students should demonstrate their:

  • knowledge and understanding of the subject of their internship project;

  • ability to place their project in the context of the organization;

  • ability to understand what is expected in terms of personal development and deliverables;

  • originality in developing and applying ideas to their project;

  • ability to write a well-structured and clear project plan;

  • ability to formulate personal learning goals;

  • ability to define their deepening subject (SME);

  • ability to draft a concept planning for their internship.

Assessment method

The Management project proposal should be approved by the project coordinator, internal supervisor and the Master’s Internship Committee. Assessment is pass/no pass (3 EC).
