Please note: this course replaces Hanja and Vocabulary (5722VKH) and KAP: Hanja and Advanced Vocabulary (5722VKH1). Students that started the BA Koreastudies in 2022-2023 or earlier and did not finish any of these course, can make use of a transitional arrangement as listed in the remarks below.

Description

This intermediate Korean reading course is designed to enhance students’ understanding of vocabulary, grammar, expressions, and analytical skills required for interpreting academic and professional Korean texts. • Learn vocabulary, grammar, and expressions in context.

  • Familiarize themselves with and analyze the styles and linguistic conventions of academic and professional texts.

  • Expand their vocabulary by applying knowledge of Hanja.
