Students can choose a course on an arts, literature and/or media subject taught in another related (Res)MA or an approved Internship.
Note: please contact the lecturer of the course before enrolling in the course whether they would allow you to attend their course.
Courses from the following programmes are automatically approved:
MA Arts and Culture (all tracks)
MA Literary Studies (all tracks)
MA Media Studies: Cultural Analysis – Literature and Theory
MA Media Studies: Book and Digital Media Studies
MA Media Studies: Film and Photographic Studies
Courses from different programmes, such as the master programmes in Area Studies or programmes at different universities, will need explicit approval from the Board of Examiners in order to be put into the elective space of the research master. They will review whether the course is sufficiently dealing with an arts, literature and/or media subject.
Please send the Board of Examiners a link of the course in the prospectus when handing in a request.
