In this course we will look at the 20th century debate over the rationality of science and rationality within science. At bottom we will be investigating the vexed relationship between philosophy and science through some classic texts by Neurath, Carnap, Popper, Kuhn, Feyerabend, and others. We will look closely at claims over the methodology, unity, objectivity of the sciences.
