Philosophy of Linguistics I : Demonstrative Terms

Vak
2009-2010

Beschrijving

Demonstratives are terms such as ‘this’, ‘here’ and ‘I’. Their reference can be determined only within a certain context. What the semantics is of demonstrative terms is a problem that is not restricted to logic and philosophy of language; it is also related to epistemology and philosophy of mind.
