Description
Study of Hebrew literary texts from a particular period in the history of the Hebrew language, depending on the student’s choice.
Course objectives
The objective of this course is to familiarize students with literary texts and their specific idiom and genre, as well as the place they occupy in the history of Hebrew literature; an additional objective consists in familiarising students with a literary studies approach to texts. The course enables students to independently work with texts, using literary studies methods, and to formulate their own insights on these texts.
