De cursus Bijbels Aramees dient met voldoende resultaat te zijn afgesloten

Beschrijving

In dit college wordt een aantal Hebreeuwse verhalen uit Genesis in de Aramese vertaling van Targum Onqelos gelezen en vergeleken met de Hebreeuwse grondtekst. Daarnaast wordt ook aandacht besteed aan de zgn. Palestijnse Targumim, Aramese vertalingen uit de periode van het Joods Palestijns Aramees.

Leerdoelen

Na afloop van de cursus is de student in staat om met behulp van naslagwerken kritisch om te gaan met de Aramese targumim.
