Based on what we learned in FLP-1 we will discuss the rest of Nelson’s book:
Entropy, temperature and free energy (a recap)
Chemical forces and self assembly
Cooperative transitions in macromolecules
Enzymes and molecular machines
Molecular machines in membranes
Nerve impulses
For those who did not follow FLP-1: work through chaps. 1-7 by yourself.
