Teaching assistance year 1

Admission requirements

Admission to the RMA-programme Archaeology.

RMA-students provide active assistance in the World Archaeology course (BA 1st year) and in this way gain their first teaching experience.
In cooperation with some of your fellow RMA-students you will weekly meet with a group of about 10-12 first-year students and give them tips and tricks on how to read texts, how to make a summary or how to study for the exams. You will discuss weekly assignments from a handbook that was specifically set up for this tutorial and provide students with constructive feedback.

At the start of the year (1 September 2015) you will attend an ICLON crash course on practical didactic skills to prepare you for your first teaching adventure.
