Research Master’s students have to follow courses offered by one of the National Research Schools up to 5 EC per academic year (10 EC in the entire study programme). Therefore it is obligatory for Research Master’s students to join one of the National Research Schools. The Faculty pays your membership fee.
Assyriology students take the research school elective: Cuneiform Epigraphy.
Next to attending workshops and seminars, it is possible for Classics students to take a reading list in Greek or Latin.
Egyptology students take a research school elective in their second year (2016-2017).
Students in Hebrew and Aramaic Studies can join LOT, NOSTER or they can take courses from LeidenGlobal.
