This course is only available for participants of the Honours Program Tackling Global Challenges by the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs in The Hague.
Description
Three types of internships are possible:
Individual Internship – you find an internship of your own choice
Combined Internship – you already found an internship for your regular study and you add an Honours component to it
Academic Internship – you find an academic internship (within FGGA)
Course objectives
- To enhance your knowledge and skills and provide you with experience in practice like working, doing research, gaining experience in your field of interest. Moreover the internship should fit well within the individual plan of study of the Honours student.
Timetable
Individual project, so no need for a timetable. Has to be evaluated at the latest at the end of July of the third year.
Mode of instruction
Internships handbook and guidance by the coordinator.
Course Load
Total study load is 140 hours of internship including writing the proposal, written report and evaluation.
Assessment method
Output: a written report, an evaluation by the student, an evaluation by the supervisor.
The Honours coordinator reviews the written report and the evaluation by the student ( 50% of the grade) and the evaluation by the supervisor of the organization of the internship ( 50% of the grade).
