French Beginners is a French task-based language course. This course will provide students with sets of grammatical, lexical and phonological items. Communicative tasks will be used to develop speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. An important aspect of the course will be the culture knowledge of French and other French-speaking countries.
The French language course for beginners aims at the A1/A2 level of the Common European Framework (CEFR). The student at this level can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases in real-world situations.
Timetables for courses offered at Leiden University College in 2020-2021 will be published on this page of the e-Prospectus.
