In this course, we focus on the analysis of (relatively) unprocessed language data in the phonology, morphology, and syntax of little analyzed languages, on which the students themselves work, individually and in groups.
At the end of this course, students have acquired and/or improved their skills in:
Making analyses of phonological, morphological and syntactic structures of a language previously unknown to them
Providing a clear, coherent, and qualitatively sound description of the analysis and/or chosen topic(s)
Working with software applications for linguistic fieldwork data, such as Fieldwork Language Explorer (Flex) and/or ELAN.
The timetables are available through My Timetable.
