Admission Requirements
This course is mandatory for students who start their Honours programme Science & Society in September 2022.
Description
The first seminar of this course is the workshop Personal & Professional Purpose, during which you explore your motives, passion and mission and how these relate to future professional development.
The second seminar is the workshop Healthy Study Life Balance:
In this workshop, we will focus on how to achieve a healthy study-life balance, which is essential if you want to contribute to society in an optimal way. As homework, you will a keep a (structured) diary in the days preceding the workshop. During the workshop, you will learn more about the importance of a healthy study-life balance, you will improve your awareness of the signs of a less than optimal balance, you will learn more about energy boosting and energy draining activities, and we will also give you some tips and tricks when it comes to dealing with stress.
You will be notified by email about preparatory assignments.

The language of instruction is English. You can write your preparatory and post-workshop assignments in English or Dutch.

The assessment method will be announced during the course.

You do not need to register for this course. You will be enrolled by the Honours College FSW.
