Within the specialisation Descriptive Linguistics students have the following options:
Track-bound electives of Descriptive Linguistics: Digital Text and Data Analysis
Courses of other BA Linguistics specialisations: Comparative Indo-European Linguistics, Language and Cognition, Taal en Communicatie (including the preparatory courses from the year 1 programme).
Language acquisition courses from a Language and culture programme at Leiden University, for example Introduction to the Georgian Language.
Please be aware that the course has to be available as an elective. If not, first consult the coordinator of studies of the relevant programme.
If students have a valid reason for choosing a different course on a linguistics related subject, they can file a request tot he Board of Examiners, after consulting the coordinator of studies.
