Description
Second or third year students of the Honours College track Science, Society and Self may take a course from the Bachelor’s degree programme Liberal Arts and Sciences – Global Challenges. This programme is part of Leiden University College (LUC), the international Honours Bachelor’s college of Leiden University. The number of places available is 20 students per course and LUC students take precedence. A course must be at level 200 or higher and the maximum number of credits allowed is 5 EC.
Assessment method
The international letter grading system is used. Specific assessment methods can be found on the prospectus.

Admission requirements
Students of the Honours College track Science, Society and Self can follow a LUC course if there are spots left.
Registration
If there are courses available, you will be notified by the Honours College FSW via Brightspace. Please note that LUC students take precedence. Only if there are spots left (known just before the start of the course), students from the Honours College track Science, Society and Self can apply for enrollment. They should indicate their interest to their coach, who will inform the curriculum manager of the LUC. Students should NOT contact the LUC themselves.
