Admission requirements
There are no specific admission criteria. But, in view of the final attainment levels envisaged, minors are most suitable for third-year bachelor's students.
Description
The Methods of Qualitative Research course familiarizes students with different qualitative research methods, such as participant observation, in-depth interviews, visual and online ethnography. Weekly practical assignments serve as step-by-step preparation for the students' own research projects. During the module "Research Design," students learn to formulate their own research projects and draft a coherent research proposal: formulating a research question, planning the research, using theories and concepts, and relating their research to existing knowledge.
