Admission requirements
There are no specific admission criteria for the minor. But, in view of the final attainment levels envisaged, minors are most suitable for third-year bachelor's students.
Entry requirement for both Intensive Language Instruction French Intermediate and Intensive Language Instruction French Advanced is that French must have been part of the prior education (a passing grade for the final French exam in secondary school). In addition, the placement in intermediate or advanced will be determined prior to the start of the semester.
Description
The aim of this course is to improve the level of French, a daily spoken language in Morocco, of intermediate spreakers. In order to achieve this, studentes will give presentations, engage in dialogues and participate in discussion. The course will make use of audiovisual materials to help students improve their listenig skills.
Course objectives
Students are expected to be able to express themselves with more confidence and take part in conversations on topics that are more complicated than topics on everyday life such as education, culture, history, and politics.

Assessment method
Assessment
Classroom participation: 40%;
Quizzes and assignments: 20%;
Final test: 40%.
Quizzes and tests mainly consist of speaking and listening exercises.
Weighing
The final mark for the course is established by determining the weighed average.
Resit
If the final grade is 5.5 or less students may take a resit once (100%).
Exam review
If a student requests a review within 30 days after publication of the exam results, an exam review will be organized.
