Admission requirements

There are no specific admission criteria. But, in view of the final attainment levels envisaged, minors are most suitable for third-year bachelor's students.

Description

The aim of this course is to improve the level of Moroccan Arabic (Darija), the spoken dialect of Morocco, of advanced speakers, and make them more confident. In order to achieve this, students will give presentations, engage in dialogues, participate in discussions. This course makes use of audiovisual materials which help students improve their listening skills and should provide students with ideas for their own presentations.

Course objectives

By the end of the course, students will be able to:
express themselves with more confidence and analyze and evaluate complicated topics in education, culture, history, and politics from different perspectives.

Classroom participation 40%
Quizzes and assignments 20%
Final test 40%

Weighing

The final mark for the course is established by determining the weighted average. To pass the course, the weighted average of the partial grades must be 5.5 or higher.

Resit

If the final grade is 5.5 or less students may take a resit once (100%).

Exam Review

If a student requests a review within 30 days after publication of the exam results, an exam review will be organized.
