Assessment method
Assessment & Weighing
Assignment | Percentage of grade |
---|---|
Mid-term exam | 45% |
Final exam | 45% |
Seminar assignments | 10% |
End Grade
To successfully complete the course, please take note of the following:
Students must have a passing end grade to pass the course.
The average of the Midterm Exam and the Final Exam grade needs to be 5.50 or higher.
This means that an average failing Exam grade cannot be compensated with a high grade for the seminar assignments.
Resit
If the end grade is insufficient (lower than a 6.0), or the average of the Midterm Exam grade and the Final Exam grade is lower than 5.50, there is a possibility of retaking the full 90% of the exam material, replacing the Midterm Exam and Final Exam grade. No resit for the seminars is possible.
Please note that if the Resit Exam grade is lower than 5.50, you will not pass the course, regardless of the seminar grade.
Retaking a passing grade
Retaking a passing grade is not possible for this course.
Please consult the Course and Examination Regulations 2024 – 2025.
Exam review and feedback
How and when an exam review will take place will be disclosed together with the publication of the exam results at the latest. If a student requests a review within 30 days after publication of the exam results, an exam review will have to be organised.
