This honours class consists of 12 seminars led by renowned scholars. Each Friday morning, the Crayenborgh lecture will be held in the historical setting of the Snouck Hurgronje Huis on Rapenburg 61. The speaker will deliver a lecture of approximately one hour. In the following hour, the students and staff members of the History Department will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to engage in a discussion. At noon, a brown bag lunch will be offered to the speaker and his audience.The honours class is part of the research Master’s programme of the History Department. Students from other programmes may also apply for this class.
