The course is primarily aimed at Masters students with little practical knowledge/experience in molecular biological lab work. During a two-week/10 full day course, students will perform a series of experiments typical for the molecular biological field. Experiments will include DNA and RNA extraction, electrophoresis, Northern blotting, DNA probe preparation and hybridization, plasmid preparation, restriction enzyme analysis and RT-PCR.
