Description
The Masterclass investigates how conceptions of space in different cultures in Asia are formed and deformed. In the first part of the course a theoretical positioning of the problem illustrated by a number of case studies aims to achieve an awareness of multidisciplinarity and crosscultural issues in Asian studies . In the second part of the course the process of writing on such issues forms the core of the classes leading up to the final research paper.
