Method of Instruction
Weekly classes of 2 hours, guiding the intensive homework (preparation at least 4 hours weekly).
Course objectives
A good knowledge of the spoken language of the Rabat Casablanca region.
A global knowledge of the variation in spoken forms of Arabic in Morocco
Required reading
The student has the option to study one of the two following courses:
Jan Hoogland, Marokkaans Arabisch, Bulaaq
Abdelmassih, An introduction to Moroccan Arabic and Advanced course in Moroccan Arabic.
Examination
An oral and written exam at the end of the term.
