The student is requested to write a paper on a subject in the field of Berber Linguistics, as a supplement to the course in Berber Linguistics (MABER1). The topic in the paper concerns the descriptive or comparative study of a linguistic question in Berber linguistics. The writing of this paper is compulsory for students who choose the Berber tracks in the MA African Linguistics or in the MPhil in Middle Eastern Studies, Arabic-Persian-Berber track, Berber specialisation.
