Yhe basic elements of music theorywill be dealt with in fourteen lectures Subjects which will be discussed are: notation of pitch and rhythm, intervals, scales and tone systems, triads, seventh chords and other chords, chord progressions,the build up and development of melodies, classical forms, voice leading, choral setting and score reading.
