This is a tutorial for the planning and elaboration of the MA-thesis. Discussions of the main research questions and of the thesis structure will take place. The thesis tutorial is part of the MA thesis, and therefore credits are obtained by both completing the MA thesis, and attending the thesis tutorials.
Knowledge of the state of the art regarding the region and discipline of thesis research;
Formulation of a research topic in the framework of modern scholarly discussions;
Exercising analytical and library research skills;
Preparation and elaboration of the thesis project exercising skills of oral presentation, discussion and writing.

Mode of instruction
A presentation of the research outline and results during the tutorial make up 10% of the final thesis grade.
