Description
In this colloquium, we discuss a) major theories of international relations and b) approaches to analyzing important phenomena and developments in international relations and international organization. Among the substantive areas focused on are reform of the United Nations (UN) Security Council and European Union (EU) voting patterns on security and human rights in the UN General Assembly. The seminar is based on active student participation. Seminar sessions consist of lectures and discussion of relevant literature.
