Description
This course concentrates on the basic theoretical knowledge of microbiology, cellular biology, molecular genetics, immunology and plant cell physiology and the connection between these sub disciplines.
Learning goals
Course objectives:
Refreshment and update of basic knowledge in subjects of Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Microbiology.
Final qualifications:
Sufficient theoretical background to progress in the MSc program.

Four intermediate multiple choice exams and a final exam with open questions.

Remarks
An insufficient score means that a theoretical deficiency exists which has to be remedied within 1 month and no other parts of Msc-specialisation will be creditable without the subsequent re-examination.
