The student has finished Junior Research Project 1 (JRP1), and has sent the written report of JRP1 to the Examination Committee.
Description
The research proposal contains a description of (1) the background of the study with coverage of the relevant literature, (2) a general purpose of the study, (3) specific study objectives, (4) design and methods to define what research will be done in the available time, and (5) the team of scientists involved in this research project.
Course objectives
To qualify for the Junior Research Project 2 (JRP2), the student writes a research proposal, under the guidance of the supervisor of the JRP2.
Assessment method
The research proposal should be approved by the supervisor and by the Examination Committee.
