Admission to the RMA-programme.

Description

RMA-students assist in coaching MA-students participating in the courses Current Issues in Prehistoric Research or Themes in European Prehistory.
Coaching involves co-assessment of assignments written by other students according to a prescribed protocol. They will also help the students formulate discussion topics and organise the discussion. Teaching assistance may also involve assistance in setting-up a seminar or symposium, and the preparation of Blackboard.

Course objectives

  • Ability to set up a seminar;

  • Knowledge of editing papers;

  • Experience in coaching students in cooperation with staff;

  • Ability to assess the quality of papers according to a prescribed protocol;

  • Ability to formulate discussion points.

Mode of instruction

Supervision of assistance during the course.

Assessment method

The overall teaching and coaching skills will be evaluated by the track leader on the basis of the overall performance.
