Admission to the RMA-programme.
Description
For 2nd-year RMA-students, Teaching Assistance (in cooperation with staff members) may take place in the Mobility and exchange in the circum-Caribbean course, in the Indigenous Heritage of the Caribbean course, and/or in the Archaeology and Anthropology of the Caribbean and Amazonia course, involving: discussion points, ability to set up a seminar, knowledge of editing assignments (providing feedback), experience in coaching students, assessment of papers according to a prescribed protocol.
The overall teaching and coaching skills during the assistance period will be evaluated by the track leader.
Course objectives
Ability to set up a seminar;
Knowledge of editing papers;
Experience in coaching students in cooperation with staff;
Ability to assess the quality of papers according to a prescribed protocol;
Ability to formulate discussion points.
Mode of instruction
Supervision of assistance during the relevant course.
Assessment methods
The overall teaching and coaching skills will be evaluated by the track leader.
