Supramolecular Chemistry
Up to date schedule information
Core course in MSc Chemistry – Chemical Biology, elective course MSc Chemistry, MSc Life Science and Technology
Description
This course provides a fundamental understanding of the core concepts in supramolecular chemistry. Within this framework, topics such as the role of non-covalent interactions, multivalency, kinetics, and thermodynamics in the design and synthesis of discrete structures to materials will be explored. Using case studies, an equal emphasis will be placed on the methods of characterization of supramolecular assemblies from the molecular to the macroscale.
