Description
The course Entrepreneurship and Innovation teaches you (1) contemporary theory, tools and practices of innovation and entrepreneurship, and (2) how to develop a business concept.
This course presents the interdisciplinary fields of entrepreneurship and innovation. You are introduced to the main theories and methods used in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. It considers the (inter) national governance perspective, the organisation management perspective, and a more team based human perspective. Though the teaching of tools and practices, you gain knowledge that is relevant for the development of your start-up initiative. In the end we want you to be able to advise on strategies for organisations to become more innovative and entrepreneurial .

Course Load
This is a rough breakdown of the course load
21 hours are spent on attending lectures and workshops;
21 hours are spent on preparing for the lectures;
8 hours to write an individual essay;
16 hours to write a group report.

Assessment and grading methods:
Individual essay assignment 60% of final grade
Group report 40% of final grade – rounding off grades to 0,5 decimales is subject to peer review
Obligatory attendance of the seminars (Pass or Fail)
