Participation in the Honours College Track Archaeology.
Description
In this module, the participating Honours College students attend a series of guest lectures (once every 2 weeks) about a relevant archaeological theme.
The idea is to focus strongly on the theoretical aspects of the chosen theme, to discuss them and incorporate them in an assignment.
Course objectives
Insight into a current theoretical theme in archaeology;
Learn to express theoretical concepts and defend theoretical opinions, both verbally and in writing;
Present an academic theoretical discussion, both orally and in writing.
Mode of instruction
Lecture;
Seminar.
Course load
The course load will be distributed as follows:
7 x 2 hours of lectures and seminars;
+/- 250 pages of literature;
Paper of 4,000 words;
15-minute presentation.
