Assessment method

Two written exams: one midterm (40%) and one at the end of term (50%). Students need to pass both exams, i.e. both exams need to be sufficient. In addition, assessment includes a question that students are supposed to prepare and ask during one of the lectures (10%).

Both exams can be resat in the same resit.

As part of the academic writing line within the track Language and Cognition, students are required to hand in a writing assignment, that will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. Passing the writing assignment is required to pass the course.

Inspection and feedback

How and when an exam review will take place will be disclosed together with the publication of the exam results at the latest. If a student requests a review within 30 days after publication of the exam results, an exam review will have to be organized.
