The MA Programme in Comparative Indo-European Linguistics is flexible. The
programme’s component parts are determined for each student individually. Generally
speaking, at least 30 ects are spent on language courses and auxiliary subjects.

Admission requirements

Description

In this course, problems from the historical linguistics of the oldest Indo-European languages will be discussed on the basis of scientific articles or book chapters. Students will need to take their share in preparing for every week’s discussion. The aim is to acquire or improve the skills which the student needs to write his thesis in the second semester.
