Description
Course offers intensive readings of primary sources and/or discussions on state of the art literature in a specific field of early-modern and modern South Asian history.
Course objectives
Students gains intensive knowledge within a specific field of South Asian history, e.g. as a preparation for writing the MA-thesis or accompanying an internship.
Timetable
Between 4 to 6 sessions on appointment
Mode of instruction
Tutorial with teacher — sessions take ca one-hour
Assessment method
Assessment is based on the ability to analyze readings independently as shown in the discussions during the tutorial (50 %) and a discussion paper of max 10 pages at the end of the tutorial (50 %).
