Description
This course illustrates the application of Archaeology Theory through lectures where case-studies from diverse periods and regions are presented. Class debate is a major part of each session.
Course objectives
Awareness of the practical problems of applying theory in archaeological practice;
Ability to compare and contrast different solutions in diverse regional contexts to theoretical issues;
Learning to be critical and self-confident in debating theory.
Ects distribution
The course load will be distributed as follows:
7×2 hours of lecture;
280 pages of literature;
Reviews.

Critical review (min. 500 words) of each lecture in the course.

Reviews are submitted one week after each lecture.
