Admission requirements
Admission to the RMA-programme in Archaeology.
Description
The seminar is organised around ongoing research of the staff members.
In block 2 it involves reading and discussion, often with guest speakers. The students participate in all aspects of research, ranging from the development of the research design to the collection and analysis of data. The research often involves the study of unpublished data or a synthetic study of published data.
Apart from writing a research paper, the students present their results on a joint meeting with research students and members of staff in Cambridge (Department of Archaeology).
As the topic of this seminar changes each year, students follow this course during 2 years.
