Description
This seminar focuses on business information systems implementations in enterprises. During the seminar students prepare various presentations based on the book, case studies from the literature and from the companies. Students work in teams to write a scientific paper on the preselected cases and prepare a final presentation based on their course work.
Course objectives
Analyse the functional and process view of organizations. Contrast functional information systems and enterprise systems (ES).
Discuss how enterprise systems enable organizations to execute and manage business processes with examples.
Evaluate BIS usage in practice.
