Through this course, the students will be exposed to some of the fundamental principles of legal practice in the international context. In doing so, the students will not only acquire new skills, but will also get a sense of how to adopt legal reasoning and what it is to be a practicing international litigation lawyer. It will focus on the question of what is an international lawyer, what are the ethical boundaries of legal practice in this context, and how to identify and apply the relevant law to a set of facts. It will be composed of practical exercises, covering litigation issues, and how to read and draft an arbitral award and judgment.
