BA2-course Klassiek Chinees 2 (before: Premodern Chinees II)
Description
This course is designed for students who have completed Klassiek Chinees I and II. In this class, we will read a wide variety of texts (history, literature, epitaphs, and notebooks). Students are expected to develop skills in independent reading for their own research.
Course objectives
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
1. Have more exposure to classical Chinese vocabulary;
2. Refine their grammatical knowledge;
3. Gain training in using dictionaries, databases, and other library tools;
4. Further develop their translation skills.
