Description
This year the teme of the seminar will be the tradition of libertarianism. Libertarianism’ is the label for a family of theories that emphasize the idea of selfownership and the possibility of full property rights in external resources. One of the most influential more or less contemporary formulations of this idea and its implications for law, politics and morality is Robert Nozick’s Anarchy, State and Utopia. In this seminar, we will study libertarian thought by a detailed lecture of Anarchy, State and Utopia, as well as some critical responses to the work and further developments of the crucial ideas proposed by Nozick.
