BA degree, preferably in Ancient History, Classics, or a comparative study.
Description
In conjunction with the courses Research tools in Egyptology (5704ORTEG) and Reading Ancient Egyptian Inscriptions (5704ORTEG) the course comprises self study of an introductory book to Egyptian Archaeology, and an in-depth analysis of some specific case studies on archaeological theory/method and sites, accompanied with further literature.
Course objectives
Preparing students with a BA outside of Egyptology for successfully following the NVIC course in Cairo.
